- Createa form that you want to project onto, for example a cylinder.
- Choose vertexes / edge loops that you want to project.
- Then on vertex mode, go to the object data properties on the side panel and create a new vertex group and assign the vertexes to the group.
- Use the shrinkwrap modifier and as the target object, select the object that you want the vertexes to be projected onto.
- Choose the vertex group to be projected.
- Now your vertexes should be projected, once happy, apply the modifier.
